I have a computer which has had 3-4 files quarantined because they were viruses. For some reason they could not be deleted, just quarantined.

Is there any way to actually delete these quarantined files? They don't seem to show up when I look for them using search or directly looking in the folder.

Also, what happens if I uninstall the anti-virus program which has quarantined the files?
1. Will the viruses become active again?
2. Can I finally do a fully successful reload of the original os and software using the original restoration disks I have for the computer?
