Ok im still new in this class what does tire graining mean. or when the tire grains? thanks

This normally happens when you are running to soft of tire on a specific corner but could also be a sign of a bad handling car. When the tire grains it will feel like you are driving on marbles. If you tell me what class you are running I might be able to help with your tire combinations as I see you probably run at Algona or Fort Dodge. Camber is wrong, Wrong compound or host, Bad shock, or Track heat or it could be that you are just to darn fast! Where is the graining happening? willyplankhead 07-13-2009, 05:16 PM I have had tires grain and and then stop over the course of a race day with out adjusting any thing did it this weekend I don't worry about it BTW it was dam fast!!!
