I've bought cars from him before, he does a great job. I've seen that happen with some of his auctions before though, and my best guess is it is merely a case of "That's my car and I've gotta have it!" He does such an awesome presentation and description that people just get caught up in it. That's just my $.02...

I agree with Harristotle, his presentation is remarkable! What a good deal for him, starting at .95 cents and who knows where it ends. I am like you, I wonder what triggered the high rate of bids?
