View Full Version : GASCAR Race #3 at LPR July 25,2009. Preview and ROLL CALL
ScottH 07-12-2009, 11:58 AM The third race of the series is soon upon us. The series is still anybody's to grab.
Roger Douglas showed the way last race at the Carolina R/C Complex. Can he repeat at Lagoon Park? The only way to know is to show up at the race and find out.
With LPR's slight banking and 30' wide track the racing will be great as always. So all you Nitro Pan guys get your stuff ready and head south for the first of two back-to-back races at LPR.
Tim and I will be there Friday morning.
See you gentlemen there. Well except for Benji, he is chicken.
COYOTE 07-12-2009, 11:05 PM The racing is always great at LPR. Super track and always well run. See you guys there.......have a safe trip, okay?
Tim
Benjie Wright 07-13-2009, 05:30 PM I'M not chicken-- I love whipping you on your home track. Just have had something planned for awhile now. The way my schedule is looking - I may not get to race again until september. That sorda sucks. Later
ScottH 07-13-2009, 06:39 PM After the whipping I took at Easley I do not think I can stand another one.
oldnum3 07-13-2009, 08:54 PM See ya there Thursday night / Friday morning. Couple more weeks.
Yall be careful, later.
Sam32 07-14-2009, 12:18 AM We should be heading down early Friday, so we should be there Friday evening.
I've got a couple of questions about LPR. Do we need a generator to power our trailer? And how are we doing pit stops, green flag I hope.
See you guys in a couple of weeks.
ScottH 07-14-2009, 12:28 AM There is limited power at LPR. Seeing as this will be a HOT ONE, I would suggest a generator.
I always hope for green flag stops myself, that is what GASCAR is founded upon. That and LONG mains. But the green flag stops will depend on personel. One if there are enough to pit and also corner marshal. The quarter scale guys always are good to us in assisting with the corner-marshalling duties.
Sam, you will really like racing at LPR, that track is a blast!
COYOTE 07-14-2009, 01:46 AM Sam,
As it stands right now, its GREEN FLAG stops!! There is power at LPR, but bring a generator as a back up. See you at LPR and have a safe trip.

kevina250 07-14-2009, 09:10 AM Cya thursday night/friday morning.
jmw312 07-14-2009, 04:25 PM Please remember that 1/4 scale also races that day. We have been averaging about 15 a race. Power is limited at the track, so please bring your generator if you have one.
Thanks and looking forward to seeing all the nitro guys again.
Marlin
COYOTE 07-14-2009, 10:57 PM Already got the word out, Marlin. Thanks for your 1/4 scale guys for the assistance. Looking forward to another good race weekend at LPR.

ScottH 07-21-2009, 08:26 PM Three Days!!!!
ScottH 07-21-2009, 09:22 PM .....
Sam32 07-22-2009, 12:02 AM One more question, what time will the race start on Saturday? We're planning on driving home Saturday night and I wanted to make sure the race will be over in time for that to be a logical plan.
ScottH 07-22-2009, 07:54 AM Racing will start about noon, usually anyway. Racing must be finished by 9:00pm due to the park rules.
Mitch R 07-22-2009, 08:25 AM I'll be sittin here, at the beach, in the shade, having a drink with a little umbrela, but I'll be thinking about you guys.......lol. Good luck
kevina250 07-22-2009, 05:13 PM Hopefully you are not at Ft. Lauderdale with that little umbrella. LOL
Mitch R 07-23-2009, 03:51 PM Kill Devil Hills, NC
Benjie Wright 07-26-2009, 10:37 PM Well i just got the whole low down on the race at LPR. I understand that Roger one again, yada , yada , yada. But my ole good friend Kevin got TQ,,WHOOO HOOO way to go Kev. But the best news that i got was of Scott Harpers new change in careers. IT'S TRUE. He took over the yard and garden job at LPR, should save the Local Government Millions - seeing as how they won't have to cut the grass at the track anymore. HEHEHEHE OBAMA WILL BE SO PROUD OF HIM. He may get a metal or an honorable mention at the next state of the union address. Way to go SCOTT- we are all so proud of you HONEY.
Congrats to Roger Douglas, Kevin Andrews- and everybody there for letting Roger win again. But don't you guys think he's won enough now?
Remember - BAN ROGER_BAN ROGER_ BAN ROGER-
Scott -shut up and get back to work cutting the grass- i think it just growed somemore coming out of turn 2.hehe
Later-THE PHENOMINAL --RED RIDER:wave:
ScottH 07-26-2009, 10:53 PM Well at least I was there to be able to cut the grass.
With all the time I spent in the grass Saturday morning and the barrel-roll I performed later in the day you would think Weed-Eater would want some space on the car.
I do have a question for you Phe-Phe.
Do you and the missus have a hard time getting rid of all those eggs around your house? See I figured since you were so chicken to show up at a race you spent that time laying eggs.
Benjie Wright 07-28-2009, 08:50 PM No prob with the eggs, i can get them just fine, but leaves me no time to cut the grass_--WANT A JOB to go with your new job. By the way-Kevin said you are scared and thats why youre not goin to the MD race this weekend.
I tryed to tell him -you are not scared- you're just to busy. He said that the grass needs cutting at Easely too. Now take that for what it's worth big boy. I am here if you need any help, or counseling, or Phyciatric help, a new car, you name it bud and i'll try to make it happen for ya there Husqvarna kid......whooooo hoooooo Rider Away:p
ScottH 07-28-2009, 08:52 PM Tell the truth, you had to look that up didn't you?
Benjie Wright 07-29-2009, 09:14 PM Negative- Will you do me a huge favor though. quit talking on here -work on your car-and go whoops up on some smurfs next time. You know - they are getting out of hand. Heck if you have to, just park it on the straight away directly in front of them. just do something .....
Later-your good friend RED RIDER:thumbsup:
