North East Short Course Racing Series
(N.E.S.C.R.S.)
Presents; The 1st Annual Northeast Slash Bash.
When? Aug. 15th
Where? At the L.R.M. Speedway. Belmont N.H.
What time? Pits open at 10 A.M. sharp.
Qualifying Starts around Noon. Depending truck count. May start a little later to let everyone sign in.

2 rounds of practice. 10 lap Heats and 35 lap Feature.

Directions; From the South; Take Interstate 93 to exit 20. go straight through the lights at the end of exit ramp. That is Rt. 140 take that approx. 4 miles and take a left on to Dearborn St. Follow Rd. up the hill and its the second entranceon left hand side where business sign is located.

Trophies and prizes will be available, depending our turnout. So come on out and join the fun. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:


Rules.

Chassis; You may only use the slash chassis stock out of the box. No other modifications allowed. You may change the shock oil.

Motor; You may only use the 12 turn Titan motor by Traxxas. No other motors allowed.

Body; You may use the following bodies, Proline; Desert Rat, and Hardcore bodies. Parma; Rattler. Traxxas; Slash body. New ERA CORR truck body. Associated SC-10 body. J-Concepts Truth body. Numbers on doors and roof number will be on passenger side of roof. Numbers facing drivers.

Wheels and tires; You may only use stock Slash wheels and tires.

Battery; You may use NiCad or nimh and up to a 5000mah 7.2v 6 cell nimh pack. NO LIPO's

Radio gear; You may use 27mhz - 75mhz A.M. or 2.4ghz radio systems.

Well today has come and even though there wasn't a high slash count. We still had fun. I want to thank Walter, Petey, Richard, and Brett. For coming up to race. A total of 4 trucks raced in the 30 lap feature. But before we could get there we had two ten lap heat races on LRM Racepark.

The Slashes

The first heat brought out Walter and rich to do battle on the tight short course.

twelve laps later Richard was the winner. He ran a slow but steady pace. while Walter was ripping up the track. Come to find out the reason Rich was running a slow pace was that his battery died.

The second heat had Darin and Petey pit against each other. Petey driving for D&D Racing. Petey didn't want to let down his truck owner. and beat Darin in a close twelve lap heat race.

The 30 lap feature was next brining all 4 trucks to the line. The start of the race put Petey in the early lead with Walter in second, Rich in third and Darin in fourth. Within two laps Walter was out of the race. A broken shock brought the Lipira entry out of the race. Petey still hadthe lead and Darin took second and Rich in third. The race was very close in the early part. Alot of mishaps during the race and exciting passes at each turn and in the end Petey was unstoppable and won the race with Darin in second Rich followed up in third and Walter out in fourth. Petey received a trophy and a $25.00 gift certificate. The Giveaway prize went to brett. In the end everyone had fun which was the whole Idea of this get together. thanks again to everyone that showed.
