OK guys have youse been holding out on me?? Is there a discount store either on line or a brick and mortar structure that I don't know about to buy packing tape??

"What's that you say Jerry??" you ask. Well I have received packages from various places, some from HT, some from ebay, and some from other online sellers, that are more tape than cardboard. So if there's a secret place to buy tape I would really appreciate knowing it......... and oh yeah .....do they also have a discounted utility knife blade store so I can get the dang packages open :jest::tongue:

 Thanks in advance for any info

In my experience, the amount of tape on a box is in inverse proportion to the quality of the box itself...Generally speaking: The poorer the quality of the box, the more tape the shipper will use...Of course, there are exceptions.......usually from inexperienced packers/shippers....
There is no correlation between the type of box, amount of tape used, and its contents, as far as I know....

Jerry,
Check out epay for shipping supplies. I was picking up shipping tape (6 rolls) plus the dispenser for a little bit of nothing (compared to online retail or stores) from various sellers over the years. Dave

I usually box and ship stuff from work. It looks like I get my tape free because...I do.

Well.. I have received boxes with NO tape (crazy, ain't it??) and have received boxes with so much you couldn't see the cardboard anymore. I use a lot. I'll admit it. But I want to make sure the precious cargo reaches it's destination!! And keep the prying fingers out of the goodies while it's enroute.

This is NO LIE!!!!!! A parcel from land ho is indeed nuke proof!!! I don't think I've ever seen anyone go to the extremes ND does when sending precious cargo!!! But, I can appreciate it, just the same. I understand it completely too. After all, it is a one of a kind priceless piece of art. While it may be reproducible, the copy never seems to have the umph that the first one has.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I like those boxes that are taped out the of their wazoo and have nothing inside to protect the body/car/chassis/parts against the shipper. rr
