SK CLASS Rules at Turn 4 SK GENERAL RULES ---CARS MUST WEIGH NO LESS THAN 2.30LBS RACE READY WITH TRANSPONDER (PER THE SCALE AT TURN 4). ---MAX WIDTH FRONT AND REAR 8.25” FROM OUTSIDE OF WHEELS. ---WHEEL BASE MUST BE NO LESS THAN 9.5” AND NO MORE THAN 10.5” MEASURED FROM CENTER OF FRONT AXLE TO CENTER OF REAR AXLE. ---SPOILER MAY BE ADDED TO THE REAR OF THE BODY ONLY AND MUST BE NO TALLER THAN 1.5” AND NO WIDER THAN 4” ---TIRES ARE TO BE 1/10 SCALE SIZE FOAM TIRES. ---CARS SHOULD MAINTAIN A MINIMUM RIDE HEIGHT OF 0.1875” SO AS NOT TO DESTROY THE CARPET AND HAVE NO FEATURES THAT WILL IN ANY WAY BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE CONDITION OF THE RACING CARPET OR TRACK. ---WE ASK THAT ANY CAR THAT IS NEW OR NEVER RACED AT TURN 4 BE PRESENTED TO TRACK OFFICIALS FOR APPROVAL. SK SUSPENSION ---SPEC CENTER DAMPENING TUBE MUST BE USED!!!!!!!!!!! THIS MEANS THREADED ROD, BALL CUP, FUEL TUBING, NO SPRINGS OF ANY KIND CAN BE USED. ---NO MORE THAN ONE DAMPENING TUBE CAN BE USED AND MUST DAMPEN SIDE TO SIDE MOTION ONLY. ---NO CENTER SHOCKS OR SIDE SHOCKS OF ANY KIND! ---THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THE SK SUSPENSION RULE IS FOR THE SK 10.5 CLASS WHICH MAY USE A CENTER SHOCK. SK CHASSIS ---CHASSIS’ WILL BE RACED/USED AS MANUFACTURERS HAVE MADE THEM. ---NO MODIFICATIONS ARE ALLOWED TO BE MADE OF ANY KIND! ---NO SLIDER CHASSIS’ ---NO FRONT END LOCATOR PLATES SK BODIES ---PREFERRED BODIES ARE ANY TYPE OF SK STYLE BODIES—WINDTUNNEL, BEEFY, KSKT TO MENTION A FEW. Just need a good set of rules everyone can agree on to make it a great class (everywhere). I keep hearing rumors. This is what Turn 4 has been running and plans to continue running come next season.
