Is there a common weight rule now with SKs and 13.5 1S? Thanks!

This should be interesting, my DRC-warrior is 1lb 15 oz with no aluminum screws and a 1s lipo and a 17.5....... wonder what they will come up with?:dude:

I know Turn 4 Speedway had the weights figured out for 1 cell in time for the Winterblast. Might have been 2.09 lbs? I think it's on their website.

SK GENERAL RULES

---CARS MUST WEIGH NO LESS THAN 2.30LBS RACE READY WITH TRANSPONDER (PER THE SCALE AT TURN 4).
---MAX WIDTH FRONT AND REAR 8.25” FROM OUTSIDE OF WHEELS.
---WHEEL BASE MUST BE NO LESS THAN 9.5” AND NO MORE THAN 10.5” MEASURED FROM CENTER OF FRONT AXLE TO CENTER OF REAR AXLE.
---SPOILER MAY BE ADDED TO THE REAR OF THE BODY ONLY AND MUST BE NO TALLER THAN 1.5” AND NO WIDER THAN 4”
---TIRES ARE TO BE 1/10 SCALE SIZE FOAM TIRES.

---CARS SHOULD MAINTAIN A MINIMUM RIDE HEIGHT OF 0.1875” SO AS NOT TO DESTROY THE CARPET AND HAVE NO FEATURES THAT WILL IN ANY WAY BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE CONDITION OF THE RACING CARPET OR TRACK.

All the organizations have had to update their weights for Br/Lipo cars so there should be changes to S/K s as well just my $02 :dude:

I would love to run them again at the 'birds. Just need a good set of rules everyone can agree on to make it a great class (everywhere). I keep hearing rumors. Keep up the good work on the SKs - they are taking off down here and are great racing!

The rules that have been copied and posted from our site are NOT Updated Rules! To answer your question Mike, We have tested all chassis' available to date and have come up with a common weight of 32oz for all SK 1cell classes. This is what Turn 4 has been running and plans to continue running come next season.

I just got back from a 2 week work trip to the Northwest. I have the majority of the rules update done, just a couple of last things to verify then it is coming out for review

-EThats great! we need some structure and updated rules to reflect the new motors/batteries, hope to see something before the fall season. Remember the first thing they teach in engineering 101 is the KISS discipline.....Its also the first thing the students forget lol . :dude:
