You know, for not really caring that much for Tjets, I sure have a bunch of them.
They have been scattered randomly throughout my boxes for years.
My Tyco boxes, AFX box, Lifelike box, truck box all had Tjet parts thrown in them at one time or another.
This past weekend, I decided to go through and pull all that stuff out, and organize it into one box.
Through some sort of purchasing error, I came up with at least 20 Tjet chassis with bodies
plus another 20 or so bodies and assorted parts.

This past winter I was introduced to the UltraG Tjet, and UltraG X-traction.
Although not sold on the xtrac yet(I think the MagnaTraction set up is PERFECT),
I must say I was impressed with the smoothness and drivability of the Tjets.
They used to suck on any stock plastic track, so finicky. But now,
that extra magnet seems to give them the traction and contact they needed to be an acceptable racer.
I went through all my late model Tjets and added a traction magnet.
The UltraG is on the left, my additional magnet is on the right with more in the cookie jar.

Okay, so now I want more Tjets and the TM is not happy about it.
I almost forgot this one.

T-Jet fever is spreading. Heck I didn't even think much about them untill coming to HT. 2 screws and a body on a chassis with a side of fries and a Coke Zero please!

Bob...I just went through my Tyco stuff like this for some Dawg Bodies that will be traveling to the bullseye of the USA...zilla

I knew you'd come to your senses. The old Aurora chassis with the skinny tires are my favorite.

Even the JL/AW T-Jets without magnets can be good racers. Just got to know how to set them up. I can get one to run decent but not great. But I keep working at it.

That's how it starts, one or two, here and there and before you know it, the display case is full. Even with some doubles and triples. I forget what I've bought at times and end up with extras. :freak: rr
