A ford dealership not to far from the shop I work in had an auction because the owners decided to get out of that buisness.

While there was loads of pretty cool stuff i picked up this display case that was in there front office area.

It measures about 7ft tall and about 3ft wide, and is heavy as all heck lol.

The dark area on the front is plexiglass, and has a tranclusent "ad" behind it about motorcraft batteries. Behind that there is 4 lights, also in the bottom there is a flourecent light.

I wanna see if i can get something else made for the center piece that is translucent and put the ford logo & the running pony

The bottom needs a new bulb but i cant get the 4 bulbs to light so thats gotta be looked into. Also i wanna go ahead and add lights in the top. It has sliding glass doors and glass shelves.

I havent gotten much in it yet. (time to start unpacking it all. But itll be perfect for some of the mustang collection as ya can see by the logo on the front of it.

That is a SWEET Ford display. It is circa 1980 or so. I had one of them years ago. I think I paid $100 for the one I got. I really hated to part with it, but I owed a friend a real big favor and he reallly wanted the display. So I let it go.

As for the four lights that you cannot get to work. They are not all supposed to light at the same time. They are on some type of timer that allows them to light on a set interval. So you might want to look into that.

I would love to find another one of these, but I wouldn't have any place to put it now :( Thanks for the pics and enjoy the display. Oh yeah ... please post some more pics when you get it filled up !

I use to hang out at Comic Book Shps, as they would go out ofbusiness soon, and I was able to pick up 11 glass display cases for 100 bucks each.
Now, if only I could find a Pontiac glass case like yours.;)
