Hi Everyone,

Richard Baker asked if I had any other project I was willing to share,
in my Undewater Lab thread, at the time no, I was taking a break.

Now that the break is over, I started work on the medium lab, and
was thinking, need to upgrade the interior of the mono FS,
have several ways I'm going on this.
So far we have a big FS with lots of detail (great job Moebius),
a mini FS with lots of different styles of detail, photo-etch interior,
die-cut cardboard interior, decals (great job Tsdsinc, Paragrafix).

First, I built an interior, using the mono fs's as a pattern, then using
decals after re-sizing them, then just using decals on the mono fs's
walls, then re-sizing the die-cut interior, the re-sized interior is only
50% inlarged, and looks small inside the mono fs.
I don't have photoshop or any of those other type of programs
to tweak the correct size.
the die-cut is 1/128, my inlargement is 1/64, the mono FS is
1/60, I think?

What do you think?

Thanks for looking

Here are a few more pics, of interior with cage
and inside sub.

A few more fixes on the interior, then repairs and fixes
to exterior and new paint job.

excuse the fuzzyness of some of the pics, getting used to
new camera.

Thanks for looking

Here are some updated pics.

Keep in mind, I'm doing these upgrades without the benefit
of casting equipment or resources for casting.

that said, on with the upgrading,
in the exploded pic, you can see I made new walls
for the power core and rear wall. the original rear wall
with engraved hatch didn't look right with the new decal
panels. I'll be doing the same thing with the rear section
and rear bulkhead.
I used the original parts (except made ones), with decal panels.
decals were placed on sheet styrene and cut to shape.

the upper and lower docking port hatch ways were cut out,
still trying to make a decent looking hatch.

Thanks for looking
