Is their any reason that both you and Hot Wheels released '71 AMC AMXs this year, or is it just coincidence? I'm not complaining, I can't wait to see this casting in stores and I'm betting the Greenlight version will have much more detail than the HW version.

Hi vmadmaverick,

Complete coincidence - but maybe all those people emailing and calling were contacting both companies at the same time?

Thanks,

Cool. I love that you guys have several Galaxie castings out right now, I found a few of them this morning at Toys R Us. Now, how about a Ford Maverick casting? Since Hot Wheels won't put their Mighty Maverick in the mainline and Johnny Lightning occasionally puts theirs out, I think there is plenty of room for you guys to put your own version. Of course, I'd like to see a 70-72 Grabber version, but it would also be cool to see a later model version, or even a Comet.

Hello Tgrove,

The hood does not open on the Chevy C-10. There is no problem with your model. The reason being is that, as you will see over the next few months, we spent a great deal of our time and budget on some large accessories and options on this truck. County Roads 3 will give you a good idea of what I mean, pictures should be posted here in a few weeks tops.

I hope you like the truck, we think this Chevy really turned out nicely.

Sure would be great to see some different bodies to go with it. A squad body, ambulance body, etc.

Thanks Matt for the response. I do enjoy the truck, I was just surprised because I can not recall a Greenlight that did not have an opening hood. I am really enjoying the older pick ups-keep them coming. I learned to drive in one of those 67 Dodges. By the way how about a 59 Dodge pick up.
Thanks again tgrove.
