Picked up on Ebay several years ago. The builder mounted it with velcro on an HO scale Aurora (sp?) chassie.

I am a huge fan of the northwest DIRT big block modifieds and at the time, this was as close as I could get to a Tim McCreadie replica. It occurred to me tonight that someone here might be the builder, so thought I would ask.

I know nothing about slot cars, but I do dig how this car was made, I though it was just to cool. After seeing the dirt car bodies that Bearsox has out, I remembered this one in my case.

Hope you like, it was fun to have something for you slot guys!

Ward that is a very nice Dirt Racer man! I didn't build it so, that should narrow it down a little...lol

I see you have one of those diecast pullback chassis under it. I like to strip the chome off of those rims and paint them for some of my builds. It takes soaking them in Easy Off Oven Cleaner in a jar for several days and scrubbing with a stiff toothbrush and then putting them back in the jar again to get the Chrome off but, to me it is worth the effort as, I do a bunch up at a time.

Bob...This is a good reminder for me to check the die cast sight out soon...zilla

Team D.V.S.- Jaybo......Dont forget that not only did I paint that particular modified, I built it cage and all and also made the two masters that Chad on the CITRO site has the casted bodies for sale. Also, I would like to add that the dirt late model bodies that are advertised on H.T. SURPRISINGLY look JUST like (without the window pillar),the same as the Moonstone/Chad dirt late model bodies that they put their time, money, and effort into shrinking to accomodate the tjet chassis. Those bodies have been available for quite sometime from either Moonstone or from Chad since I beleive Chad had bought the rights to the mold as I have understood the situation to be. FWIW.... Could this be some kind of coinsidence that they have been casted by someone else?

Ward ,
i may have seen one of these from an ebay listing sold by Dan Walsh out of the KC area. I've seen him sell several similar so perhaps he or someone he knows made it ? Not sure but interesting body none the less as i only seen the paper ones early on.
