I have a briggs and stratton 11hp that starts and runs well with a load on the engine for about 3 minutes, then it stops. it will restart but when a load is put on the engine it stalls out. can anyone tell me what to do? I have replaced the coil and the engine continues to do the same thing.

If equipped, your high speed adjustment on the bottom of the float bowl may need adjusting. Initial setting is 11/2-13/4 turns from closed. Run engine for a few minutes to warm it up, at full throttle readjust if needed so engine runs evenly at full throttle. The jets (tiny hole) in the bowl nut that this adjusting needle is in may also need cleaning. Use a wire from a twist tie.
