View Full Version : Who do we need to beat to get a fuddmiester 06-30-2009, 09:54 AM Lola casting.... preferrably AFX/TOMY like the clear series.... wheelszk 06-30-2009, 04:11 PM Sorry, but thats an ugly car......... NTxSlotCars 06-30-2009, 05:26 PM You got a pic of the real one? fuddmiester 06-30-2009, 07:45 PM Baby ugly.... ya gotta love 'em!! Here's a link to some pics. Just think about how good they'd look with the Ford GTs and Daytona coupes!! http://www.imca-slotracing.com/Lola%20T70%20Mk3B.htm pshoe64 06-30-2009, 07:52 PM I'm working one up in resin, but it will be at least 3 months at best before I get all the details sculpted in. It will be the 1/64th scale of the AFX cars. I'll keep you guys posted as it gets closer and will put up some pics when it starts looking more recognizable. -Paul fuddmiester 06-30-2009, 08:17 PM Great, looking forward to seeing it! wheelszk 07-01-2009, 04:49 PM OK, pictures looked a lot better than that Hot Wheels car. Dyno Dom 07-01-2009, 07:23 PM Lola is a good choice!! Always a popular body in slots, whether in T-jet, Cox/Monogram 1/24 or Fly 1/32nd scale! :) pshoe64 07-02-2009, 07:56 AM After getting motivated here to focus in on the T-70 Coupe, I started back in on my research. From the point I'm at now creating the original to make the cast, I can create the T-70 Mk I or the Mk III. The Mk I is the top picture/blueprint, the lower one is a Fly version of the Mk III. Note the front deck radiator inlet and the rear spoiler assembly that is on the Mk III and not on the Mk I. What would you guys like to see? Once again, these would be made in 1/64th scale and one or the other would be about 3 months away from completion. -Paul http://1wpxdw.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p6-2nSOqqP1zY-L01FWfi5698tWh-JteRFeJllQQ-AI2y2t4S42bdbSUS7jWaDrvYtz3WD8ZoRT6f_KYSJq2kjLnj4w WJngSs/Lola%20T-70%20Coupe%20Blueprint.jpg http://1wpxdw.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pHfGAog_hGOUB5NPwUHX7D80G9vbek--RwCTogS1JY43SGzzL9M5FUfpWR5aPvQArCJ7-qpA2vBIAUsouP2Q5rXu67rvujDzB/Fly%20Lola%20T-70%20Coupe%20Sunoce%20Blue.jpg BRPHO 07-02-2009, 12:22 PM MEV originals makes the Lola T70 MK3 version for t-jets already. It is listed on his website..... I figured this might help a few of you wanting it for t-jet chassis. Wayne :thumbsup: TEAM D.V.S. 07-02-2009, 07:32 PM fly version! ParkRNDL 07-03-2009, 11:27 AM wow. looking at the pics of the 1:1s, I'm surprised that Aurora didn't make more of them than just the Lola GT... they'd have been perfect with the other Tjet racing cars Aurora had... --rick Xence 07-03-2009, 11:34 AM That is a beautiful car. Not the hotwheels version of it but the actual vehicle in most of its stages is really something to behold. I love those old CanAm cars. My alltime fav. series. Cheers, Xence vaBcHRog 07-03-2009, 09:04 PM BRP made a resin version of the one in the picture for a TJET 22tall 07-05-2009, 09:42 AM Here is the mev lola http://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss126/22tall/1166a.jpg 66Galaxie500 07-10-2009, 07:41 PM Lola T-70 open cockpit, please. SJC Resin Cast used to make them but he now says he is not casting at this time. But for a coupe, I like the Fly Mk III better than the Mk I blueprint. Funny, the MK I blueprint identfies itself as a Mark 3.
