I received this one today ..
The white interior looked lame and it had the all too familiar "butt-dragging" look so I had to rip the package open .. It's worth more to me if I can get my hands on them..

I had an extra black convertible that I swapped out the RED interior with , and added some much needed lift to the backend.

The pics can't show it , but the paint has a "pearl white" look to it .. doesn't look bad with the whitewalls or the raised letters..

ALSO , Hey Galaxieman!!! , The slope of the windshield on the hardtop is an improvement over the convert..

Nicely done........ Nothing like a little mix-n-match to create some better castings.....

I'm not a fan of red interiors, but that looks really good!

I'll need to purchase another Galaxie to make sure I don't have a hole in the collection.

I have it on order , waiting for it to arrive ... Wish GL had put whitewalls on it from the factory ..

I'd like to see a side-by-side of the two to get a better look at the windshields. If so I will be adding at least one of the hardtops to the collection.

Comparing apples to apples seemed the better way to go , so I "doctor'd" up the pic of the hardtop so you can see how they stackup against each other as convertibles.

The slope and height of the windshield seems more realistic on the white one to me.. What do you think?
Ya know .. this sure beats the crap out of mowing the lawn,, which is what I SHOULD be doing right now.....

I truly believe one of the best characteristics that the Greenlight product delivers, is the ability to honestly listen to the collectors/consumers and make changes to the product that are necessary.

I can see how some things get by the design team when they are creating. When you sit down and focus on a project, it's easy to get tunnel vision and obviously let things slip by. Us collectors are the 3rd Set of eyes if you will.

I think Greenlight is smart enough to know by other Makers mistakes (HW's/Mattel), that we demand quality; and won't settle for anything less.

I like the Galaxie along with the 300K and J. I like them because they are big and HEAVY. We only need a couple more Big and Heavy castings to create a BIG BOATS Series.
