Waltgpierce, Yes its just like those accept its the original black one. We are eventually going to race the TJet slots at our club. Just curious what are the fastest TJets? let me know. Thanks Jreemy

I am a little unclear on what you mean "what is the fastest T-jet."
With a little tuning and a couple of part swaps, the Johnny Lightning/Auto World cars are faster than the original Thunderjet. This is due to a 3-lam/lower ohm armature, better magnets, and different gearing than the original T-jet.
Or, are you are asking what is the best Johnny Lightning/Auto World car/body? In the experiences of the Front Range HO club racers (Denver, CO), the Corvette GS is by far the "best" JL/AW body. However, the Mustang and Pontiac GTO are both very good. For a short wheelbase car, the Pro Stock Vega and the Pontiac Firebird perform well. Of course, all of the bodies perform much better when they are lowered.

BTW: For a short wheel-based body, the Willy's is also very good (if lowered).

Waltgpierce, Sorry I didnt get back to you. What I meant was if certain tjets are faster than others I dont know alot about slot car racing. So this is a great place to ask those questions. I know alot more on the downhill racing (Johnny's) of course. Like I said eventually we will be setting up a slot car track and racing the tjets and the autoworld cars. Thanks Jeremy ljlrc
