You all know Bill Hicks aka Dadvball. He's going in for hip surgery replacement tomorrow. His sixth (yes, sixth) time!
Please keep a good thought for him for a speedy recovery and let's hope this hip lasts longer and works a whole lot better than the last one.

Thinking of you, Bill. God speed.

Had an Email from Bill a couple of days ago.

Even with his present medical schedule he still stays a pretty busy guy.

I have no doubt his positive attitude will see him through this important procedure.

Thinking about ya Bill,

Give me a shout when you are able to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best of luck to you Bill. We are praying things work this time.
Here is a tribute in a way of Bill's awesome work. I have been meaning to do this for far too long. Finally got off my deadweight butt and took some pics. I only have three but they are among the favorites of my collection. Thanks Bill and get better soon my friend

Got together with Bill and the guys a few weeks ago and he handed over a boatload of customs to us all. In recognition of Bill's great handiwork, here are the Dadvball customs I scored:

Hi guys, here is the latest from Bill “Two Hip” Hicks:

He’s doing well and sounding great! His spirits are up, and he’s been in the nursing home for re-hab since last Friday, expects to be home this Friday.
His attitude is good, he’s doing great at physical therapy, he’s on the minimum amount of painkillers, getting by mostly on Tylenol. Says he can feel the difference with the hip versus no hip, as he can now put weight on that leg.
Bill wanted to pass along to his fellow board members that he’s thankful for their thoughts and prayers, and he’s looking forward to being his old self again.

Great news! Glad to hear things are working out. Bill "Two Hip" Hicks is a nickname that just may just stick around for a while.
Be cool seeing you posting again soon!

Hi guys! Today I found out this rehab facility has a library with a couple of computers, and nobody using them! Though I'd drop in to say hi, and to thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. You don't know how much it means to me and I so very much appreciate it. Thank you John and Mark for posting some of my customs. I can't wait to get home (hopefully Friday) and get busy again.
I'm doing fine with all the physical and occupational therapy (I should, I've done it 5 previous times ), and am happy to say the therapist I've been working with can't get over how well I'm doing so quickly. I see my surgeon for a followup in 5 weeks and I'm hoping to get back to work the first week of September. Anyway, I'm going to check up on what's been going on here and the other boards before I head back to my room. See you around!
