I did a wheel swap and it still looked like something was missing on this HW Cuda casting... I painted the bumpers, the grill, turn signals and head lights, the rear panel and the tail lights... Sure added alot to the appearence !!!

If only Hot Wheels would spen an extra penny for paint.

I'm sure it's not the penny worth of paint that keeps HW's from adding extra detail to the Dollar Mainline cars.
More like the extra machinery,tooling,labor,cost, etc.,etc., needed for the extra steps.

Great job on the detailing! It's amazing what one can do to a basic casting that can change the look altogether (and for the better).

I agree 100%! Those $1 hw's become something real sweet with just some extra detail and real riders.
