We made it home from another race.

I would call it a great time had I not had such a bad car, but the fellowship and good times had aside made the trip worth it.

I would like to thank Donnie and the crew at Carolina RC for putting on a great show. Also the guys in the Hobby Shop. Is there anything not in that place?

To the guys that helped us out in the pits, if it was not for you guys we could not have had our main. THANKS GUYS!

I would also like to thank John Foister of John's BSR Tires. He made the long trip to support this race and to lend tech support to any that needed it with any tire issue they may have had. I think the way he and Rger were running their cars should put to rest any doubt about the durability of the BSR caps. Thanks for making the trip John.

Roger Douglas took us to school this weekend on how to get around Easley. You are the man!

See you guys in 3 weeks at LPR.

I would like to thank Donnie and David and the entire crew for putting on a superbly conducted race event! It was the most efficiently ran big event I have ever attended. The atmosphere was fantastic and all the competitors seemed to be having a good time. A special Thanks! to all the sponsors and BSR-John. We were glad to see Stan back in Nitro and Mike Bush too. A special thanks to everyone involved. Congratulations to all the winners and competitors.
(A personal special Thanks to Coyote Tim for helping us with our problem.)

I would also like to say that i had a good time, even inspite of everything that went wrong with my car. Congrats to Roger Douglas for his win in the .15 and also congrats to Sam Presnell for his win in the .09. Both of these guys had there _____ together all weekend.

In a very special note however, I would like to say that i went up and checked on Kevin today and i think it is officially safe to take him off suicide watch. Although he is still taking it hard he is showing signs of getting over it. (Boy was it a long ride home yesterday)WHOOOO.

I hate that i can't make it to Alabama on the 25th, but i have had something planned on that weekend for awhile now. But i really hope everyone has a good time- although i know it will not be the same without me in the way. he he

Thanks to Donnie and his crew for once again putting on a great show. It's always a pleasure racing at Carolina R/C complex, and seeing all the racers and friends I have made over the years. David and the hobby shop personnel are the best. Great weekend and hope all had a safe trip home.

Many thanks are in order for many people who made the Outlaw 250 such a great race. I would also like to acknowledge some racers who had a good run. Here goes.

Thanks to Mitch from Mobile Hobbies for sponsoring the .09 class, and for helping me out with parts here and there. It is much appreciated.

Kudos to Gary Warren for a stong second place finish after not having ran an .09 car since last year.

Congrats to Jeremy Revis for taking Tim Smith's car and having a good showing in his first ever nitro race. Good Job!

I'm proud of my friend JT Burton who just started RC racing this year. He was a bit overwhelmed during Friday practice, but he got accustomed to how a big race is ran and had a good run, qualifying 3rd and finishing 4th.

Thanks to Wayne's Alignment Service for sponsoring the .15 class. Thanks to Tim Smith from GASCAR for organizing the class.

Congrats to Roger Douglas for such a good run all weekend. I know how hard it is to have a car as good as his was and keep it that way. Great Job.

I was glad to see James Stroud and Stan Brackett back racing with us. Both of them had a good run for their first time back in nearly 2 years.

Thanks to John Foister for the tire giveaway. It was really cool for him to make that long trip to only race nitro, and race in style with a fast car.

On a personal note, thanks to Tim Smith from GASCAR for giving me some tips that helped my .15 car tremendously, and Stan Brackett for giving me some tips that helped both my cars. Much appreciated. Also thanks to Pop and JT for pitting my .15 car. I couldn't have asked for a better pit crew. Their stops were quick, clean, and effiecient, great job!

Congratulations Nick Bell and Robby Black for winning the 21.5 pro and sportsman classes, and to Jeff Davis for winning a wild Quarter scale race. Thanks to David from the Hobby Connection, Advance Auto Parts, and J&M Hobbies for sponsoring these classes.

Finally, a HUGE thanks to Donnie and the Carolina RC Complex crew. They always put on a good show. Also thanks to all the racers for, at least for the most part, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun. This was the most fun race I have been to in a long time, and I hope that Donnie and the sponsors will indeed make this an annual event.

Guy's I didn't get to run, but I think you all are leaving 1 major thanks out, and that goes to McLin for putting this thing together in the first place. I know that it was intended to be part of the .09 series and Gas Car to start and then Donnie and crew went from there. So let's not leave Lin out of the THANK YOU'S

Yes! I wasn't thinking that far back, but a big thanks to Mclin because this whole show was his idea, and it was a good one.

Actually, Kevin got with me about it one day over the phone and he and I and “Little Red Ridding Hood” talked more when we were at the GASCAR race at Easley last year. While I did put a few of the pieces together, it was not my original idea but thanks for thinking about me.

We thought we would have an all gas race with only the 21.5 electric class added so we wouldn’t leave anyone out. All Donnie added was the sportsman class. Kevin also jumped in and took over one of the sponsorships that fell through and Donnie did a lot of the work behind the scene too.

I’m real pleased to hear that all went well and everyone had a good time. Hopefully I will be able to be there myself next year
