Looking at the box back instructions I noticed something missing in the assembly diagram. Are pilot figures included in the new Mini Flying Sub kit ? Can someone who owns the kit let me know. Thanks Much!

MP Ductapeforever 06-25-2009, 02:46 AM No, No crew figures. djnick66 06-25-2009, 09:06 AM N figures (oddly and saddly) but if you had the original Seaview kit you would recall the figures are molded on a different sprue than the FS... steve123 06-27-2009, 03:05 PM Here's what's in the box. No little guys though. You do get a cool paper interior from TSDS and all the small ships from the Seaview. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v351/stev123/DSCF0647.jpg Steve Dave Metzner 06-27-2009, 03:25 PM The kit figs in the big Seview are on another tree in another toool. Just not practical or cost effective to set up and shoot that whole tool just to produce two little guys... Sorry. dave Krel 06-27-2009, 05:11 PM Well, it's disappointing to know that it isn't a complete kit, not that it will stop me from buying a couple. It is just disappointing to know that it is incomplete. David. steve123 06-27-2009, 05:52 PM It's not incomplete. it just dosen't come with little guys.(The instructions for the Seaview make no mention of crew for the FS.)All the little guys go in the control room. If you have a Seaview just kidnap a couple from the control room. They are so small that you could create two from sculpey or putty very very easily. N scale is too small but you could use a figure as an armature and "beef" one up....No Flying Subs for many years, and now two in two different scales, our modeling cup runneth over. Who's gonna make 1:128 figures for a $15 kit? :( m jamieson 06-28-2009, 04:05 PM It's not incomplete. it just dosen't come with little guys.(The instructions for the Seaview make no mention of crew for the FS.)All the little guys go in the control room. Steve Absolutely...I am happy they even made them available separately! kit bash another kit for figures or make them as Steve said..or just tell everyone it's on autopilot. Richard Baker 06-28-2009, 05:28 PM I never use the figures even if they are included-this works fine for me... . vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
