No just build them Race them!
dragonhead00 06-24-2009, 04:37 PM I'm interested in seeing some videos of Jadas racing. I thought Jadas were only good for display. The ones I've opened rolled ok, but never seemed to me to be good for speed.
johnnyl 09-19-2009, 09:50 AM Guys you got my attention on this topic. We had a all out diecast race twice a Rubber tires class, and a plastic wheel class. A couple of guys raced the Jadas some were quick could'nt keep up with the Real wheels (Johnny lightnings) or the real riders ( Hot wheels ) but they did okay. We use to have this race before we moved to the YMCA we will have to try it again its cool to see all the different diecast companies racing on the downhill. Johnny lightning, Hot wheels, Matchbox, Tiger wheels, Maisto, Jada, Racing champions, Greenlight, M2, you get the point its cool. The Lincoln Johnny lightning race club will have to host another All out die cast race. Stay tuned Jeremy LJLRC

Liv N Low 01-01-2010, 03:11 PM I wouldn't think you could Race Jada Cars as the Tires are so close to the
fenders on the insides and would rub on any given bump on the track, but
I would love to see some Videos or Pic's of them in action.
johnnyl 01-01-2010, 10:42 PM Liv N Low, You could race the Jadas we have in the past. I will post some pics. of them when we do our All out Die-Cast Race. Jeremy LJLRC
Liv N Low 01-01-2010, 10:49 PM Sweeet, Love to see Photos or Vids
Thanks
Bump for photos of the racing!!!!
markkaz 02-26-2010, 06:00 PM Jada's are not good racers. They all have rubber tires and they the tires are also pretty wide causing lots of friction. Also, the bodies of the models are generally pretty wide making them not fit on standard tracks. including mine.
johnnyl 02-26-2010, 11:03 PM Markkaz, I agree we have raced them before at our club. The only thing you could do is a Rubber tire race they might compete with some of the other cars with real rubber tires. Johnny Lightning Real Wheels have the fastest cars with rubber tires. Then I would say Real Riders which are Hot Wheels. Jeremy LJLRC
markkaz 02-27-2010, 12:42 PM The family has only raced rubber tire Hot Wheels at the SoCalOriginals meetings. They don't race any other brand of diecast. Rubber tire races are a great way to mix things up and add different themes to the meetings. I can't speak about the Johnnies but for Hot Wheels, try to find a skinny tire RR with lots of weight.
GO-GTO 04-19-2010, 10:55 PM JADA's are good for a different style of drag racing where you use dice and performance enhancing cards. Although I had to redesign the drag strip to better accommodate the larger JADA size compared to JL and HW.
johnnyl 06-09-2010, 09:44 PM We are looking into doing a Rubber Tire Feature Race maybe in August at our club. That would allow Jada, Johnny Lightning, Hot Wheels, Racing Champions, Greenlight, M2, Matchbox, Muscle Machines, ect. We do a Real Wheels each month Johnny Lightnings only they are alot of fun because you never know when they will fly off the track. Jeremy LJLRC
