I figured this is the best place to ask this question. I had a magazine from i would say the late 50's or 60's and it had pictures and a write up about a type of slot car that I have never seen before. I dont have the magazine and its been about 13 years since i have seen the article so my memory is kind sketchy on this.
They were a large scale slot car but unlike the slot cars that we see now they had a small frame that actually ran under the track. It fed the power to the main car. They were cool they showed them going over small humps they put on the track and how they could slid into the corner. If anyone can remember or dig anything up that would be great. I just thought they were rather neat an i haven't seen them anywhere but that article.
Thanks guys
