I read some old threads here but didn't seem to answer my question.
I'm going to be building this model but I'm finding 2 versions, A revell-germany version for $100-$120 and a revell/monogram for $70-$80. Are they the same kit or is the revell-germany kit different? I don't mind spending the extra and want a detailed kit, but If they're the same I'd rather save the money to use on some photo-etched parts.

I'm almost certain it's the same kit...it's only come out in the past year and a half or so.

I was hoping they were the same kit, or at least close enough to not justify the extra base cost.
