:tongue:Hello. I won an ebay auction for a matchbox rotating store display case. The display case was not assembled aproximently 34 years latter. It was in its original box with protective plastic still on the plexiglass. The plastic was difficult to remove. The assembly instructions were still with the display.I may laminate them??? The display is near mint. With shipping I paid around $100 Canadian. I believe I won the item because the picture was of the box and not the display. The box actually fell apart (brittle). I will keep looking for different styles as I enjoy showing my loose cars. I'm having trouble getting show and tell :pictures on this forum.Sorry .

Well, congrats on the display. At least you know you are the first to use it. I can't wait to see pics when you can finally post some.

Love it!
Is it from '72 or '73?

Anyone know what the first Superfast version of this case looks like from 1969 or '70?
Wondering what the graffix look like - if there are pictures of cars on it, etc.

Nope no pics on the first superfast versions, just the matchbox log. There were also 75 section Matchbox wall displays as well.

Just looked it up. I think it's a hold-over from the reg. whls. days from '69.
Cylindrical though...gotta find one.
I do have the cardboard one fron 1966 though which is sommmme sweet.

Hello. I think my display is 74 and it did not come with the cars. The cars were finds from yard sales and auctions. I would like to find different styles of display cases for my loose cars. I was also lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time. The Canadian tire store in my town was about to scrap a metal/heavy cardboard display stand. The employee on the floor said the stand was continuously in his way (middle of the isle) . I spoke for it and had to explain to the manager that my cars would look better displayed on the stand than in the boxes they were currently in. I did not even have to buy the 16 cars that were left on the display.85358

You have one very fine Lesney stand there, we would all love to be blessed with one like yours.I can see that the artwork shows the Streaker issue of the Datsun 126x which dates this as 1975 or 1976 - the Streaker years:hat:
I like your Hotwheels display too, what better way to display blister packs than in a toy store display when the wall space is all filled up.......
