we're leaving for Florida tomorrow, with stops in Darlington, South Carolina and Daytona, Florida, before we get to Disney World. (See how I planned both stops in NASCAR towns? :thumbsup: ) Anybody know of hobby shops or flea markets or anything slot-related that's a must-see in either city? We won't be long in either place, but we'll stop at the same places for the drive back next week...

I don't know how close it is to Daytona and I don't have any other info, sorry...

Rick- Ken's classic cars is in the Orlando area. Wish you were a couple more hours south (West Palm Beach). You could do a few turns on my new layout.

man, I would have brought a few cars and taken you up on it, too... but traveling with 4 little ones doesn't encourage side trips like that. thanks for the offer, tho...

If you plan to visit Ken's Classic Slots.. be sure to call and talk to Ken first. It's is not a store front.. but, he is usually happy to open for customers if he knows they are coming. He is a quite a ways north of Micky's house... so, it's best to be sure to contact him first.

no slots this vacation, oh well. at least the hotel in Daytona was DIRECTLY across the street from the Speedway... and there was a go-kart track within walking distance. we ran a few laps, lots of fun... :)
