This is a sure fire way to tell if the bodyshell comes from the left hand or right hand side of the Lesney twin die.
Now that I can see Mountain has a lot of these Opels, I do wonder if he has all the permutations of each bodyshell combined with no tow tab, tow tab only on bodyshell not baseplate, tow tab on baseplate only not bodyshell and the most common variety, tow tab on body and baseplate. The no36 Opel was one of only about half a dozen regular wheels which required both the body shell and baseplate casting to be modified so that the hook on the no13 wrecker could lift them. No 22 Pontiac GP & no 24 Rolls are 2 obvious others - can anybody else remember the other cars modified on the body and baseplate to be towable?

One that springs to mind is the No. 41c Ford GT. It was modified early in it's life to have a tow guide on the base and the body.
Nice collection of Opels!
