Switching over from brushed to brushless in my 12L4 and need help on gearing - run-out.

I will be running a novak 4 cell gtb and a 17.5 motor and 1s 4000 mah lipo cell.

A good starting point or direction would be helpfull.

I know the basics I just do not know how the gearing and roll-outs apply to the brushless motors.

I will check CRC's site out and I think Tekin has some good stuff also.

I dont know how helpfull this will be? I,ve never ran 17.5 1c and it's been awhile since I ran 12th onroad. I have been running 13.5 1c oval we've been using 3.70-4.20 RO on ovals ranging from 200-300 ft runlines. Maybe that will give you something to think about?
