View Full Version : Chrysler Pronto Concept
camarors 06-14-2009, 11:13 AM This is my third air brush project. I think it came out well.
Started with a HWs Pronto concept. Stripped and prepped this thing had a lot of uglies on it. White prime coat, taped and shot black, taped again and shot metalic orange. Details added and clear coated. Center caps on the wheels.
If Chrysler would have made this car, I would have bought one.

CadillacPat 06-14-2009, 03:08 PM Where yat Bob,
Another MightyFine job from the CamaroRS AirBrush shop.
A good looking dramatic contrast of colors and a fine tape job.
It's obvious you're having a good time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those Center Caps give this Pronto a real nice look,
Much attention to detail in placing them dead Center where they belong, well done.
Another real good one Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

harristotle 06-14-2009, 03:59 PM That looks real cool! I started a pronto of my own a long time ago, but have never gotten around to finishing it...
69Stang 06-14-2009, 04:21 PM Yes, what Pat said...color choice, design and applaction... looks super!
BUT, what I like even better is all the great custom cars in the background! Just love your work.
ClearHooter 06-14-2009, 05:02 PM Very nice indeed.
zeb41 06-14-2009, 05:55 PM Nice work Bob.
minicup64 06-14-2009, 07:43 PM Nice job on that you are good.
alex1485 06-14-2009, 11:59 PM love the paint, not so much the wheels.

Really? I am just the opposite on this one. I usually don't like the disc or moon type wheels either, but I thought they fit this cars look and attitude just right.
alex1485 06-15-2009, 12:01 PM I dunno, just don't do it for me... maybe on a 30s ford or bonneville salt flat type of car (or 49 merc), but i dunno, still love the paint.
roadrner 06-15-2009, 02:35 PM Looks good here!:thumbsup: rr

I agree, the paint is the best part. Remember that salt flat Merc that Jada did a few years ago? I know what you mean on the disc, they did look perfict on that release.
TJinSA 06-15-2009, 11:28 PM What would tempt you to trade away the 'stang wagon in the case?

indeed. anyway, i didn't want to go too much off topic on the thread... I was just saying how i feel on it. Maybe if they were black instead of chrome...
camarors 06-16-2009, 07:34 PM Thinks for all the comments guys. As far as my wheel choice, I just thought they had a nice Retro look for a retro looking car.
