Just signed up thank you for having me. I am looking for a lap counter for a TCR track, is there even one out there?

You could use any lap counter, the difference would be in the track trigger. You would have to use a dead striptrack. Each lane has 3 rails. One car uses the outside rails, and the other car uses the inside and one outside. You would have to hook up both lanes with deadstrips for each car. It could be done, but you would have to actually be in a lane when passing over the counter to count, no lane changing around the lap counter. Also, you could not run a jam car, unless you didnt mind it counting a lap for each car when it passes the lap counter.
Other than that, I guess you could try the R/C forum and see what they use for lap counting. It's definitely more expensive, but infinitely more accurate. It may not be available small enough for HO slot cars.

Which TCR track? The early Ideal TCR used a paddle style counter. if that's what you are looking for I think that I have one stashed away (Way Away!!) in the cave. Never used it!
