on july 19th we will being the paul heitz memorial race

the class as of right now are 10.5 1 cell (smc only) , 21.5 2 cell (3200 max) and the last class is called the brake out class,this class is and pan car with anything in it but it cannt go under a 7.0 sec lap time..

hope everone can make it and have a great time ,track is super fast and so fun .if u have never been here u should really come because there is nothing like...hope to see everone on july 19th..if anyone needs a set up just ask

one thing that we havent had enough people to do is run mod so if u have a 13.5 or 10.5 laying around put in the car with a 2 cell and come out,we really would like to have a mod class,if anyone can rebreak the track record there is a money prize

too bad the race promoters chose to put this race on Sunday (i'll never understand this?????), it really discourages out of towners from attending. I really wanted to particpate this year.

This is our annual giveaway race. The classes for this race are 10.5 1-cell, 21.5 2-cell, 7.0 Breakout, and OPEN MODIFIED. The entry fee is $25 for the first class, $15.00 for the second class, $10.00 for the third class and the fourth is free. We will run 8 car mains with the 7 fastest cars locking in, and the winners of the B-mains bumping up to the A-main. It's time to make a run at Frank Polimeda's all-time record....so for the open modified class we are putting a $100.00 bounty on the record which is a 41 4:01.86. If the record is not broken the bounty will follow over to our August race. The track will open at 8 AM and the racing starts at noon. Any questions please post or pm me. There will be plenty of great giveaways along with a 50/50, so come on out and have some fun.:wave:

Guys, great to see that this race still goes on. Paul was a long time supporter of this track through the years. He was a hardcore racer that only a few could ever get past his tough outer exterior and get to know the real Paul. I'm sure he the Rocket, Jorge and Alan can share some stories about him and the races they shared with him. The fence post going into turn 3 was where he pitted and where he would be one of the first to show up on race day. The number 99 will be the first car there on race day again.

The race is a two day event like most out of town races I have attended. Sat practice and if there is an interest we can race with the feature race on Sunday. I am going to take a shot at the Track Champ Frank P so I will be running Mod and 10.5 1-cell or 21.5 2-cell, (still up in the air). I am expecting a few other guys to join me so for who ever is keeping count, count me for 3-4 guys and 5-6 cars.

Almost forgot, 100 potatos to who ever breaks the Mod record ;)
