Stopped by K-Mart and saw this '53 Cadillac on closeout. Couldn't believe that the retail price had been $11.59! Is there something extremely special about this edition over and above the added detail and an engine under the opening hood? FYI, the closeout price was three bucks.

Thats a pretty typical price for the 100%'s

These models were the enhanced verions with extra detailing added. They were not in the Mainline Series - at least not originally. Most sold for about $10 each and the Cadillac as I recall was in at least a duo pak box.
