What is the weight limit for 13.5 single cell at your track? How much weight did you have to add to your chassis to make the weight limit?
THANKS, LITTLE BUDDY

KSG Gen 3 , 9650 servo, LRP esc, 5 cell nimh receiver pack and personal. I was very weight conscious with the car because it was purpose built for 1 cell. It takes 2.75 oz to make our 36 oz foam tire weight and 2.0 to make our 38 oz Cap tire weight.

Why would you want to have a 1 cell car weigh 41 oz? Yea, the rules, get them changed.

LOL, were talking about 1 cell lipo on caps being 38 oz, the 21.5 2c cars are 40 oz Sportsman and 41 oz for 21.5 2c Pro. I hang 3 oz of lead on my 21.5 2c gen 3 Sportsman car.

We ran that kind of weight back in the 6 cell days!!! I thought with the lighter batteries, we could shed some of that lead! Back then we were looking for ways to lighten them up and now were adding.

I ran my 21.5 IRS car on caps for the first time Sat, on foams in fla it is overweight sort like it owner. On caps I had to add 1.8 to get it to 41.1. Just the way it goes.

We ran 38oz this year. On our 60' x 33' flat carpet track, the 13.5 single cell ran a little slower than 17.5/4-cell at 40oz. It may have been identical same speeds if the 17.5/4-cell were 41oz.

We will most likely switch to 36 oz this fall when racing starts up again. The new 40C single cell packs at 36oz may end up being faster. Time will tell.
