We are considering using Scalextric's R2 and R3 banks in an upcoming 4 lane floor layout.

From what we see on the boxes there are only enough supports to go under the actual bank curve. What do you do about transitioning the straight track into the bank?

Also, is the outside lane a problem with no barrier or wall? Any insight on any aspect of these track pieces greatly appreciated.

I had to make my own wedges to transition the turns back down for straights and they run out 18"+ till flat.....I use the outer borders with the guard rail and have them in black and they look real good and give the outside guy some slide room.....mine is not on the floor so the scenery covers up the supports for the outer border and the transitions to/from banks..
