We have been running on the outdoor track, whenever the weather permits, (Sat. 1:00 pm). On average there are ten slashes and three to five stadium trucks. We run three five minute qualifying rounds and one seven minite main. Track opens at 11:00 am. There have been a few guys getting there early to blow off and water down the track. We added two new jumps last week and are plaining to add a few more this week, weather permitting. There has been talk of having an endero race if enuogh people show intrest. If we race they will come!!!! Hope to see you there.

Sorry I didnt get back with anyone this past week. We had 12 people show up for the slash class and I must say we had a blast. We also had 5 stadium trucks. The track has been getting better every week and the new jumps are cool.

we allready have one guy running a sc10 so i dont see why not. but as the class grows that truck would only be allowed to run in the open core truck class. deppending on your skill level you might want to down size your motor..... racing starts at 1pm

The track has underwent some changes.I hope everyone likes air time. The layout is more challenging but stock slashes were making all the jumps so it should be good to go.

Hi everyone,

I haven't been able to make it down to Slots in awhile....glad to here they are getting some offroad guys showing up. I might have to dust of my Slash and come race soon. I also wanted everyone to know that there is a new track opening up in Indy. I went down and ran a few laps with my pancar tonight and I'm trying to get the word out to everyone. I know you guys are running offroad, but if you have anything you want to race on the new oval or are up for some onroad action bring it out and have some fun. The track is located on the east end of the Marion County Fairgrounds on the southside of INDY. It's a paved oval with a 500+ foot runline. They will be running Sliders, Pancars, Touring Cars, Slash.....whatever...Nitro or Electric. 3 cars make a class. They just reworked and resealed the pavement for a smooth racing surface. They have a concession stand, AMB Scoring, a timing tower, and a huge driver's stand. There will also be a dirt oval inside the paved oval. The plans are to open a carpet oval and onroad track this winter, but it won't happen unless we get some people racing and supporting this track. I'm not trying to take Slot's business....there is no offroad track, but I would like to see you guys come out and support they track. Having a BIG indoor oval and onroad track this winter would be cool. Here are some pics and links to the discussion thread. First race will be AUGUST 8th and I believe there will be an open practice Friday night under the lights on August 7th. Start building your oval and onroad cars now and come race!!! These pics are not the newest....they have done a lot of work with the retaining walls, driver's stand stairs, ect. The first picture is to show you the size, that's before the track was resealed. It's a nice facility.

What kind of turnout have you been getting for 2wd trucks? Might have to make it up there sat. Also, if there are trucks, what motors are they running?

I should be there this Saturday with David for some Slash action. If anyone has an 1/18 or 1/16 I'll be bringing my Vendetta, too. Getting a new battery for it in the mail, so I'll at least be beating it up on the track. It'd be cool if we could get a class going this weekend.

Might be worker shortage related reasons. I think they are short a guy right now with Nick quitting.
