Race 3 of the series will be at MR CAR raceway in Marshalltown, Iowa on July 18th and 19th. The details are yet to be decided but the track will be open Friday afternoon for pratice. This is held at the Fairgounds and the Central Iowa Fair will be going on During our racing so expect a crowd cheering you on and yelling for the big one to happen. It should be a great time from what I saw at CR last night. Because of the Fair and other events that weekend, you may want to book a room as soon as possible. Here are a few choices. It's for sure not 5-star.. LOL. I'm not sure how many rooms they had left for this coming weekend.

I was vetoed by my wife. Run line at Mtown is 390 Ft.

After talking with Hays last weekend at Tri-Clone, this is what we came up with for the schedule:

Friday noon - dark open practice.
Saturday track will open at 7AM and we will start racing probably around 1 - 2 range.

We will run the entire BRL race on saturday only.

We will have a regular club race on sunday for those of you who want to stay and race some more.

The county fair will be going on friday and saturday so there will be food stands and plenty of spectators to watch. There will be races at the big dirt track which is about 500 feet from our track on friday evening too if you are looking for something to do.
