I was wondering what size siliicones are used on these cars. I want to use Maxxtrac tires or Indy Grips
Thank You

I just measured my Gainsco car's wheels:

Rears: 17mm h x 11mm w

Fronts: 17mm h x 9.5mm w

The stock tires are very thin in profile - 2mm thickness at most.

Hope this helps!

Nope, I sure do not. I just sand the factory tires, use Tiger's Milk and race them as is with taping and cleaning between runs.

Sorry.

Brian, you might want to try a set of S1's or S2's made by Slot.it. I can't vouch if they'll fit or not but I will try them at home tonight after work and let you know.

You might try K&Ds (http://www.homeracingworld.com/kdracing2.htm) they have silicones available.

Hello the # 1011 Super Tires from Slot Car Corner fit perfectly. These are great tires, a bit better than Indy grips. Check out the link below. Just go to Slot Car Corner .com

Here is a pic of the Gainsco car that the Fly car is modeled from. The Fly body picture is a pre-production
model, and the last one is a body in white version.

I have looked at these. How do the rate against the Sideways cars?

My own personal opinion for what it's worth. The Sideways cars are more highly detailed in appearance as Fly as generally agreed that these new cars aren't as detailed as their past releases, and the Sideways cars will blow their doors off as they are using the Slot It offset chassis and motor, which is as good as it gets. But thats my opinion and others will have theirs.

I agree with Mike on all points. The Fly DP's need weight and better tires but, I have seen them keep up with the Racer Sidways version. They seem to have a bit better straight away aceleration but lack cornering speed.
