Alfa Romeo gave a TZ chassis to Bertone, where Giorgietto Giugiaro designed this Canguro show car for Paris 1964! Why was it called a canguro (kangaroo)? A journalist crashed the original, plus Alfa decided not to put it into production. Oh well!

Both 1/43 cars are obsolete: Mercury from Italy (red) and Pilen from Spain (tan)

Wow, way cool!!!
The tan one looks a little more realistic. It would be nice if someone made a modern casting of this one.

A Japanese guy rebuilt the wreck and on it's first showing took out Best of Show.
