Would anyone else besides me find it useful to have threads containing links to how-to sites, led calculators, etc., stickied in the forum? It would save a lot of time for us beginners instead of searching the existing threads.

Sounds good to me. Also, how about adding sources of low-cost supplies usable on models?

That's very gracious. :)

Given the forum topic, I think Halcyon_Daze's idea is worth serious consideration.

The whole point of the stickies suggestion is to minimize the search, and therefore the time, for pertinent sites for the members of this board who peruse the Model Lighting forum. Some of us who regularly frequent this board would like a handy reference for lighting-related sites...in my view the stickies suggestion would serve that purpose. It is precisely because there is so much information out there that posting stickies with links that are directly relevant to the forum topic would be convenient.

I agree. This forum should encourage experimentation and learning, as model building does in general.

How come no moderator for this forum has replied concerning whether my stickies suggestion has merit or not? This forum is moderated isn't it?

Hello Helcyon / Daze:
I would like to see clean information about model lighting, electronics and supply's, ("Not links to Walmart or Ritaid ect.")

There are moderators here, just running in silent mode for now.
