Anyone know what the Super III's wheelbase is? Is it the same as a LWB TJET or different? Could someone measure it for me?
Thanks

Thanks Roger Corrie dlw 06-05-2009, 02:44 PM The Super III's wheelbase is similiar to XT/MT cars. grungerockjeepe 06-05-2009, 03:32 PM Dont forget the SIII has 4 wheelbase settings. DLW is right, left on the factory setting the wheelbase is similar to XT's on lwb, and there is a shorter setting that would closely match the short XT's like the jeeps, broncos and vipers. There are 2 longer positions that will probably match up closely with the lwb settings on super G+ and tyco widepans respectively. blubyu 06-05-2009, 04:17 PM #1=1.700",#2=1.591",#3=1.491",#4=1.381". vaBcHRog 06-05-2009, 05:06 PM Does anyone know what wheel base teh Stock Cars have? DesertSlot 06-05-2009, 07:53 PM Does anyone know what wheel base teh Stock Cars have? I don't know but they are shorter than SRT's. slotcarman12078 06-05-2009, 08:01 PM Since we're discussing superIII's here, I just thought I'd let everyone know Buds' HO has a special on them.. 10.00 each or 3 for 25.00.. This includes the Boss Mustangs this month... Even if you get them just for the chassis it's a deal!! Even I'm thinking about it at this price!! blubyu 06-05-2009, 10:28 PM Stock cars would be #3 Location, the longest #1 is the same as the Mega G. #3 is the same as Tyco (short wheelbase). Hope this helps you Roger. vaBcHRog 06-06-2009, 07:39 PM Thanks that equal to a LWB TJET:) Roger Corrie LeeRoy98 06-06-2009, 10:46 PM Did AW ever release parts for the Super III, i.e. replacement pickups? Gary AKA LeeRoy98 www.marioncountyraceway.com Yes and No, you can pickup your friends that burnt up and use the shoes and springs off them..lol Dave blubyu 06-07-2009, 12:01 PM Try Tyco shoes with the sides Dremeled down where it goes through the pickup shoe spring. This is what I have done. Montoya1 06-09-2009, 05:23 PM I never bothered to check, because the whole S3 proj was marred (and now dead?) but those 4 'bases do match those on the chassis I sent to AW. Pity they did not use some of the other ideas :) A real shame they did not use the longest wheelbase either, especially given how awesome AFX showed the results could look.... vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
