I just wanted to add this thread here because this is such an awesome tour and its not being discussed much on these threads. I have been to 1 of the 2 races so far and it was great! 175 entries at the race at Willow Mill and I close to 200 entries for the first race at Bumps and Jumps! So the ball is already rolling on this one.

where do you race Jason?

Nowhere right at the moment, Hoping to get to CRC in Fredonia, WI and Big Bills in Springfield, IL a couple times before the summer is up. I'm also w/o work at the moment so tough to travel too far to race. I'd love to come out there though, the big races are always a ton of fun.

yeah its crazy all the interests that there can be in RC. right now Dirt oval is where its at and im glad to be able to be part of it!

I ran the first tour race and was at the second. Had to bail due to a very ILL handling car. BUT I can say the tour is a great series and the turn outs for it and other dirt oval racing has my pan cars starting a new hobby......collecting DUST !!!

For some reference last night at Staubs for a "normal" saturday night there were 99 entries. My 13.5 latemod main was between 11:10 and 11:30 saturday night. Dirt oval is a BLAST !!!!!!!!! Well except for when the car is a total P.O.S

Wow! well on the dirt oval thread for this race theres already 4 full pages of people saying they are going and it hasnt been a month yet since the last tour race. gonna be wild!

last i looked on the site there was over 100 guys pre-registered for this event! its next sat at Staubs. so get those cars ready!

I think mine is ready ...........with some good NO GREAT luck and the chassis feeling smooth I got my first feature win at Staubs last night 41 laps in 4:00 ???

HUGE turnout was the name of the game again !!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday there were OVER 200 entries. I think it was something like 210 but I could be wrong. Man this series is a blast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok guys got the word from the Boss tonight. FRIDAY July 24th there will be practice all day long. also there will be a race at 7pm! COME practice b4 the race! if your gonna run late please call in your entry we will put you in so you have more practice then previously thought. should be a fun time. come on out. gonna be a blast!

Ok Last week we had Jeff Hotaling, Brad Slusser, Steve Miller and Todd Putnam come up to practice for the Nitro Tour. this week we had Walter Stuber, Steve Salvis, Terry Mealy, and Ken Boehm come up to practice. Next week i hear Alan Behlar and Brock Garis are coming up to practice! come on up guys if you can come try out the track b4 hand you will be in alot better shape then not! traction was awesome today!

i didnt register yet and i can think of 15 others atleast so this is making out to be another HUGE EVENT! All you guys that are like me and usually keep to the pan cars, should try and talk to a buddy that runs some dirt oval in the summer. you never know they might have a loaner ride for the weekend?

the series final race for the season is coming up. these races are a NO brainer for people that want compitition! the nitro tour races are some of the only races of the summer that you know when you get there, there will be a ton of other racers! nothing worse then getting to a "big" event and not seeing the crowds! or looking at your race number and your 5 car heat is the only heat for the class! why even qualify!? no matter how far you have to drive to get to this next race its worth the trip! you wont be dissapointed!
