Ok I need to quick Roll call to see who is planning on coming to the 500 this year. I will be able to get an idea on how many shirts to buy, and food to order. Last year for those who missed it. We had a 150 lb pig, 100 baby back ribs, 80 lbs of chicken. We also had all the sides and deserts, all the beverages including, the beer, after racing. Was all-free to the racers and their families.

We had a blues band last year the Juke Hounds which were very good. This year we got a much larger band The RetroVox, Another very good band.

Last year we crammed everything into a one-day event. It’s grown way to big for that now. This year it’s going to be a two-day event. All qualifying will be done Friday. After the qualifying we will then feast and go sit in the grass and lessen to a great band. Saturday we will run our mains and the 500, this year the 500 is going to be Grand National. This is the event of the year, you won’t want to miss out on this.

I will be there Thursday with a sprint car or two. Can I reserve that same pit space I had for the Tri State race?:wave:

The goal is to come and have a good time we are running all classes. Everyone can come and enjoy a solid two days of racing

Freddie , can't make it for the qualifying on Friday , can I tag onto the back of the main for Saturday ? That four letter word , W--K came into play this last couple weeks . Might be there in time for the feast though .

It was the tires, they couldnt handle my driving style (Wide open for 500 laps baby)

Probably stay friday all night, just think of the leftovers we can eat & party all night long. looking forward to the event, had a great time at it last year,this year looks even better.:wave:

Well just let me say that this is more than a race. Anyone can tell you the food layout is something in itself. This is not hamburgers and hotdogs on a grill. We are serving top quality food and all the side. Then we all get to sit in the grass so bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great band.

There will be no reason to go after racing and go out to dinner, everyone can sit in their little groups and chat enjoy good food, some cool refreshing beverages and lessen for a great night after racing

Then Saturday we get up practice and run our mains and we get to head home. You cannot ask for a more perfect weekend of racing. Accually very weekend should be like that , Well with dancing girls of course :tongue:

Yea I decided to take a couple years off and dusted the really old Pro 1 off and was going to run the QSAC circuit this year..Then the bottom fell out of the economy. I've heard alot of good things about Freddies and decided to race this one.. I hear alot of the guys running at J&M are going to run the QSAC race and I thought this would give me a heads up on them..I'm glad your doing well and racing as good as ever...I'll see you there and catch up on old times......thanks TONY

Are we supposed to pre-register for this race, I have yet to see a registration form? I will be in Lansing this weekend:tongue:. Hope I can register day of race.

Sorry Freddie I will not be making this years 500 race. Something has come up. As last years dominator but untimate looser i was wanting to redeem myself. I will make a fast appearance for food. Hope everyone has fun.

I can tell you guys from last year the green flag pit stops made the race. It made you fell like the real deal, Yelling at the gas man to squeeze the bottle harder, doing calculations for fuel stops with stratagy. It just didnt get any better than that!! Fantastic idea and a great race to take part in. You will not forget it.
