i have a peerless 6 speed rearend that has a plastic pully on the top just like a hydrostat rearend. is this a hydro or just a standard rearend? and what is the pully for? when i move the shift leaver it feels like it hit every gear.
this was given to me from my boss and he does'nt remember much about it.

Model number of tranny would tell the story, or brand and model of the unit it's on may reveal an answer as well.
