The yellow area is where the body was mounted to the tree for plating. It is only yellow plastic showing through.

If I had to guess, I would say that this body made a trip to http://www.chrometechusa.com/

But then again, maybe it is the real deal. I am just very cautious about chrome bods after getting flawless results on a beater 512M that I sent there. I think RR has it now?:thumbsup:

You're right joez, It's in my display case and she is flawless. Now the truth comes out, sending beaters to friends :eek: Oh, the inhumanity!

Based on that body, I wouldn't have a problem sending anything to Chrome Tech USA. Superb work! ;) Dave
