You know how you're always watching the guy who just bought the goodies walking around with it at the Flea Market? Yesterday was my turn to be 'that guy'. Four different vendors for all this plus the Tyco set with the Renault and Ferrari F-1 cars in nice shape. Usually that is like the dream you have where you wake up before you get to leave with the stuff.

Joez,
I don't know about that. I've been here a few years and I still haven't stumbled across any flea market, yard sale or estate sale that had some outrageous box of HO stuff for the taking. Dave
win43 06-02-2009, 11:13 AM Nice haul.

Sorry RR... :(
SplitPoster 06-02-2009, 11:56 PM That is a GREAT haul of cars. This looks too good to be true LOL.
ajd350 06-03-2009, 07:30 PM OK, I paid $30 for the three Cox cars ($10 each!), $30 for the Tyco set, $50 for the three T-Jets and $125 for the parts lot. The parts are mostly 1/32 and 1/24 Revell and Monogram tires and wheels, Monogram slim chassis, Classic bevel gear sets, some Cox wheels and tires. Nothing newer than 1966. Also scored 5 1963-70 Road and Track and Car and Driver Magazines for another $10. I've been going to the fleas for several years and never had a day like this one! The guy I bought the T-Jets from said he'd already sold one car.......I didn't want to know what it was.
resinmonger 06-03-2009, 07:42 PM Where are the fleas? They can be good eatin' if you fry a mess of them up in butter...
ajd350 06-03-2009, 11:21 PM Eat 'em? No, I trained the fleas to go out and find this stuff. They actually came through this time.
T-jetjim 06-05-2009, 06:26 AM Great score. Those T-jets look to be in pretty good shape as do the Cox cars.
Congrats
Jim
