Have you heard anything about showtime/metro? At one time i had heard there was someone interested in opening it back up. It's a shame the oval just sits there.

One of our racers is/was hoping to be able to get it...and thought maybe he would be able to by last January.

I'm not sure how things are progressing, or if they even still are. Even if he's successful, it's going to be a hard sell to get guys to run SHORT TRACK "CAPS" again.

I'd love to run there again...about 3-4 times a year, but there's no way to keep a place like that open on that few number of events either.
