I built another Moebius Iron Man, this time as the all-silver Mark II suit. You can see the pictures at the link below:

VERY good weathering, Sean! Looks like a pewter staue.

Thanks, John!

I guess all those years of dry brushing silver onto tank kits to get that bare metal look have finally paid off. :D

Very good job- he looks assembled instead of cast.
I think I like this better than the Red/Gold version- Ironman is a machine suit not spandex...

Thanks, Richard. Yeah, in retrospect I think the silver paint job does show off the suit design much better. Plus it gives the suit more gravitas, more realism, than the red and gold version.

Nice job on both kits! I did a vinyl kit many years ago in yellow/red like the comic version! I like how you did the black wash, works really well. I keep hedging on buying this kit. I loved the movie, it looks great lit up too, but I just haven't gotten the huge urge to purchase yet. Too many other projects on the burner I guess!

Thanks, Tim! This is a fun kit to build, even if you don't light it up. It's funny, Iron Man was never really one of my favorite superheros until I saw the movie and enjoyed it.
