Hello Again Everyone,
Jackson RC Racing is proud to announce its first trophy event of the 2009 season. The 2cd Annual Dirty Jerzey Oval Classic!!! Sunday June 14th gates open at 8am and racing will start at 12 noon.
We like to keep it simple at Jackson. The classes are:
-21.5 2 cell lipo; this is what we plan on being the big class because it is what we race bi-weekly at the club.
-13.5 one cell lipo because there is some interest out there
-NITRO STADIUM TRUCK!!! everyone’s favorite
The entry fee for these classes will be 25$.
-We also will run any other class that gets 4 or more cars as an exhibition class for 15$ per entry.
Hope to see everyone in the pits!!!

Hi, I have a rc12 with the older nimh batteries, I want to go to lipos and a brushless system is that what you guys are calling the 13.5 and 1 cell class?

glad to see some of the guys using the rcsignup.com site. i changed the site so you do not have to pay to sign up on the site, this will allow you to sign up on line and then pay on race day. check it out

I was thinking of using my second car to run 13.5 2c LiPo. I was figuring 13.5 because I figured most people have one lying around. Also, I was figuring we could run ROAR legal 2c 3200 packs. Anyone else want to try it out at the Dirty Jerzey as an exhibition class?

Not this time Chuck, maybe in the future, i've been busy lately and just finished getting my 21.5 car ready for today.

Weather looks awesome. Changed the forecast to sunny until 8:00 pm. I'm heading up now.

9:30 update,it is cloudy but no R#@$ and weatherchannel.com is not calling for R#@$, there are about 15 people in the pits. There are a few wet areas (no standing water) that are being cleaned up now and the track is being prepped so start making your way out if you havent already!!!:thumbsup:

Another great day of racing at Jackson. The Jackson crew did a great job prepping the track and running the show as usual. See everyone in 2 weeks.

Agreed. Another awesome day at Jackson. The track was great, and of course the guys running the show did yet another fine job. Awesome announcing job today.

just like to thank everyone that came out for the event, also like to thank everyone that helped with track cleanup and prep and jason swift for making the plaques
good day of racing with some FAST oval guys and the nitro truck guys put a show on for everyone, during their main everyone was trackside watching the action!!!

Yeah, between the insanity of the Nitro Truck guys and the door to door intensity of the 21.5 crew, yesturday was a great day of racing. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone come back for the next big oval trophy race!

(should we change the name of these to "plaque races"? hehe)

Great job by the Jackson crew.Track was excellent.Look forward to coming back in July.
