I thought Aurora Chargers did not have red tail lamps. The stripes look too far apart also. Looks like a JL Body with home done stripes. It even looks like they wore the roof paint to give it a patina. Or am I just completely wrong?

Like joez870 said painting the rear lights is easy. To me the picture that says it is real is the shot of the rear lights. The Aurora car has indentations in the center of the lights. The JL lights are rounded.

Yup, Joez is right. Everybody doinked the tail lights on their T-jet-a-saurs with red ocre back in the stone age. :freak:

The stripes are fine line tape...which ironically is the first step when I dupilicate the original stripe. I set the tape, then back mask it, and remove the stripe portion before spraying...makes for a very clean edge!

You can see where the tape is buckled coming across the fender. The roof has been repainted at least once at some point in it's life... and not very well. Looks like a high mileage, kid painted original from here.

This just shows my inexperience. :freak: I would have sworn it was fake. I dont own an Aurora Charger so I did not know there was a difference in the shape of the lights. You learn something new every day. I forgot that I have a JL Charger in the case that I never opened and just looked at it and I see there is a big difference in the rear light shape.
