Anyone have an interest in narrow gauge railroads like the DRG&W in Colorado. Love the little trains in the mountains. Trying to find some locos and cars in N scale but they seem very hard to find.

I built my own 2-6-0 from cardstock for a similar adaptation. I don't know anything about the status of Nn3 today, but you could certainly Google it. Prowler901 05-28-2009, 04:46 PM I love the Rio Grande and the Rio Grande Southern. But, money and space have never met at the right time for me to build a layout. So, I've had to be happy with virtual railroading. I do all my narrow gauge model railroading in Trainz 2004. It is satisfying creating 3d models and landscapes. But, I sure do miss having the equipment in my hands. Todd toyroy 05-29-2009, 11:45 AM Software modeling doesn't do it for me, but I'm glad it works for others. Prowler901 05-29-2009, 04:07 PM I know what you mean. The last real layout I had was when I was in high school back in the 80's. There's just nothing like getting your hands dirty in it all. Ahh... I miss those days.... :) Some day, some day... Todd vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
