This has to be the world's ugliest diecast in 1/64 scale. Notice the extremely narrow wheelbase.
Is is a Lamborghini? A fantasy car?
Is it Pre-Columbian? Or is it just a POS?

Before I give it its due, I thought it would be interesting for those who might know, to see it and render their opinions. The only nomenclature on the bottom reads "Hong Kong". Could it be a rare relic of diecast history or is it a long forsaken el el el cheapo that was buried a foot in the ground?

Thanks and sorry if you found this too disturbing. :)

I believe it's supposed to be a Ford GT.

It's a little squished, A Tootsietoy GT40 from the 60s/70s. All the Toosietoys and Midgetoys look that way, narrow tires with a lot of them set in to far.

Thats what I see as well. I have several old Tootsie toys and they are all pretty much made like that one.

Looks like the "space saver" tires all around on this one. Like the one you might find in your trunk.

Roof is a little squarshed yes, but the car is also wildly out of proportion,
but I kinda like it in a runt of the ltter sorta way!i!i!

I think they were .25 or .50 for 10 cars back then

Hmm, when i was a kid something like this was most likely one of the sweetest most fastest rides around.... well at least in my minds eye... teehee.

its been stepped on... but GT40's were quite low rides to begin with.

I think that the roof is damaged and it might be a gt40...

That is a cute and charming toy - well, sort of. If you want really ugly look no further than the current six-to-a-pack dollar store clamshell pancake cars, mostly plastic, goofy as can be.

I've never seen a tootsie toy like it, but it is that style. Definitely a Ford GT-40 Mk-II (probably should be re-named GT-33). As I've never seen another like it, I think it'd be a great candidate to restore-- no... I mean REALLY restore, like it was when it was new...

Like Atencio, I'll have to keep looking for one!

I like it. Another GT40 for me to hunt down
